Plano Kitchen Refresh: Painted Cabinets, Granite & LVP
This Plano kitchen shows how much a focused refresh can change a room without a full gut renovation. ALC Remodel kept the existing cabinet boxes and layout and changed the three surfaces that set the look of the space.
The cabinets were painted in a two-tone scheme: deep navy on the base cabinets and island, crisp white on the uppers. New granite countertops went on the perimeter and the island, and wood-look luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring now runs from the kitchen into the living area, so the two spaces read as one.
Kitchen projects range from about one week for cabinet painting to around eight weeks for a full gut renovation.
Project highlights
- Cabinet painting: existing cabinets painted navy (base cabinets and island) and white (uppers)
- Countertops: new granite countertops on the perimeter and island
- Flooring: wood-look LVP flooring through the kitchen and into the living area
